Xbox360 Unveiled
Well Microsoft unveiled the Xbox 360 yesterday on MTV.I thought the show
was kinda bunk.I actually learned 10 times more about the macine by
going to the official Xbox360 website. There is also a bunch of huge articles over at TeamXbox.Man
that is one badass machine.3,3.2 gigahertz processors,a
state-of-the-art graphics card from ATI(apparently they made a couple of
revolutionary breakthroughs while developing the Xbox's card),liquid
cooled,512 mb of ram,720P & 1080i resolutions + full screen anti
aliasing with not hit on the framerate, detachable 20 gb hdd, customizable
faceplates,wireless controllers,Perfect Dark Zero,etc.,etc.Whew.Well
naturally Sony announced today that there is a "possibility" that the
PS3 could launch in 2005.Wow,im shocked.Oh and of course Nintendo also
announced that the "Revolution" would ship with wireless
contollers,backwards compatibility,online built in,a sleek design that
stands on its side, dvd format discs.Wow.That sounds really
familiar*cough*Xbox360*cough*.Oh well I guess its only natural that Sony
and Nintendo would try to take some steam out of the Xbox360
unveiling. It doesnt matter though.Microsoft is setting the
pace(again)and im sure we'll see Sony and Nintendo follow.(Nintendo
already is judging from their system specs)I personally cant wait for
the 360 and will be counting the day until it's launch.
